Guard Training Requirements in District of
Columbia
Every state has a
different requirement if you want to work as an armed security
guard. District of Columbia also has their set of requirements
for this kind of job. You will need various training and other

be at least 21 years
old.
- Must be a

training, armed security guards must complete
the required hours in the classroom session as well as
firing range qualification and training. They must meet
the qualification requirements and demonstrate skills for
an instructor. If they already have a certification for
firearms, they must undergo re-certification to renew the
armed security guard license.
