Armed Security Guard Training Requirements in Kansas

The state of Kansas requires that all armed security guard applicants must be licensed. Before license is issued, the applicant must first provide the requirements needed for qualification. Regulation and license acquisition is overseen by the State Attorney General’s Office. A mandatory criminal background check will show if there are any criminal convictions associated with the applicant. However, the applicant must also provide a list of criminal history in the application form. This includes traffic citations, records of violations of the uniform code and other misdemeanors.
