Armed security officers are responsible for patrolling ad reporting any illegal activities, prevent and discover theft of valuable goods, protect properties for vandalism or trespassing. A complete security guard training program which is approved by the Board on Public Safety Standards and Training must be completed by each applicant.  Applicants who have two or more years experience in law enforcement, private security or military police can challenged this class. This training involves an 8 hour classroom course but there may be other added training as the training progresses. They may be given another 4 hour assessment by a certified Department of Public Safety Standards and Training instructor. This is to know if applicants are potential candidates as an armed security officer. They must pass the given written examination in order to attain their license.

In submitting your application, take note that all documents must be placed and sealed in an envelope along with required fees. Be sure that you have completed every document and has answered each form correctly. Also, give the exact amount of the fees required.
