Security Guard Training Requirements in Maryland (Unarmed)

Maryland is known to be one of the environmentally friendly states among other states in the US. With its vast forestry, some of these areas need to be protected. Security is one of the main reasons why the state of Maryland offers individuals who are interested to work as an unarmed security officer. Not only that, a licensed security guard can work in other facilities that require having a secured area.

In order to become an unarmed security guard in the state of Maryland, an applicant must be qualified first before his/her license is granted.

A competent security guard is always a good qualification for an applicant to be granted his/her license. Once the training is completed, the state of Maryland will then grant the applicant his/her unarmed security guard license. An unarmed security can work in areas such as malls, banks, museums, libraries, schools, hospitals, government facilities and many more just as long as they have a valid license.
